30+ Years of Experience
1995 — The Beginning of AuraQ
AuraQ began with a vision to help organisations improve the way they work through technology. Beyond the founding partners, the company quickly began to grow, welcoming our first employee, Gareth Jackson, who remains an important part of the team today over 20 years later. Over the following years, our team expanded and we began delivering solutions for major blue-chip organisations.
2008 — A New Era of Automation
After more than a decade, we evolved into the world of business process management. Recognising the opportunity to help organisations automate and improve their processes with BPM, we became a delivery partner for Metastorm (now OpenText) and rebranded as AuraQ.
2011 — Growing Our Team and Our Home
As demand for our expertise continued to grow, so did our team. We moved into our Malvern headquarters at 33 Graham Road, set against the backdrop of the beautiful Malvern Hills. This remains our home today and continues to be where our team comes together.
2014 — The Start of Our Mendix Journey
We partnered with Mendix (now part of Siemens) and delivered our first low-code application. At the time, low-code was an emerging approach to software development, but we recognised its potential to transform how organisations build and evolve applications. Today, Mendix is at the heart of our software development capability, enabling us to build enterprise applications faster while helping organisations modernise, innovate and scale.
2021 — Accelerating Growth
Celebrating 26 years of AuraQ, we reached new milestones as we continued to grow our team, strengthen our technology partnerships and deliver transformational projects for organisations around the world. Our success was driven by the dedication of our people, the trust of our clients and our commitment to helping businesses innovate through technology.
2024 — Expanding Across the Atlantic
Building on our success in the UK, we expanded into the United States with the opening of our Boston office. This marked an exciting new chapter for AuraQ, allowing us to support more organisations globally and strengthen our presence in one of the world's leading technology markets.
Today — Continuing to Innovate
Today, AuraQ is a recognised Mendix Delivery Excellence Partner within the Siemens ecosystem, helping organisations across the UK and US design, build and support high-value business applications. Combining low-code and agentic development with other products within the wider Siemens ecosystem, we help organisations modernise legacy systems, move beyond AI pilots and deliver digital transformation with confidence.
